Here’s a snapshot of Prevention Minnesota's programs and policies aimed at significantly reducing tobacco use among Minnesotans. While one strategy by itself helps a little, multiple strategies yield greater results. States such as California and Massachusetts that have implemented price increases, clean indoor air laws plus complementary programs have witnessed the most significant reductions in smoking rates.
