Monitor and report on your organization's progress toward its goalsMonitor the policies, programs and places you’ve created and address any areas that need improvement. Are the policies clear? Are the policies being uniformly applied to all employees? Are managers following the letter and the spirit of the policies? If your organization has a regular cycle for reviewing policies, add the Healthy Eating policies to this review process. Are the places being used? Do employees have easy access to information on food service vending and/or food service sales of healthy options? Are leaders visibly demonstrating their support of the policy by offering their employees healthy eating options at staff meetings and (ideally) by making their own healthier selections in the cafeteria? To maintain leadership support, look back at your goals, and measure and report on your progress annually. The document below has additional ideas for measuring your progress. |
