Build programs that encourage and support physical activityOffering physical activity programs helps encourage the use of places, but classes and other programs by themselves are not usually sufficient to increase physical activity among employees. Changing the environment (i.e. places and policies) to encourage physical activity helps employees become more active. Programs do help to raise awareness of the benefits of physical activity and engage some employees’ interests. Here are some program ideas to get you started.
