| Minnesota’s Clean Indoor Air Act
In Minnesota, the Clean Indoor Air Act of 1974 was updated in 2003 to include most factories, warehouses and other places of employment exempted from the original legislation. However, the exception for restaurants and bars was not removed. The Freedom to Breathe act passed in 2007, which virtually eliminated the option to smoke in restaurants, bars and workplaces.
