Here are additional resources to help understand young adults’ tobacco use in the context of overall tobacco use patterns.

Catalyst Youth Activism Project A statewide network for youth advocates across Minnesota, funded by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, Catalyst focuses on preventing tobacco use and promoting healthy eating through creative youth activism. The movement is committed to taking action to support positive public health change across the state.
Colleges and Universities with Smoke-free Air Policies This site lists colleges and universities that have completely smoke-free campuses (indoors and out), as well as schools in which all residence halls are smoke free.
Healthy Campus Tobacco-Free Network This project, funded by ClearWay Minnesota, is a statewide tobacco control network of post-secondary institutions.
TTAC College Tobacco Prevention Resource Hosted by the Tobacco Technical Assistance Consortium (TTAC), this site provides college leaders with information, ideas, and guidance related to campus tobacco control.
TobaccoFreeU.org The BACCHUS Network site is an excellent source of information about tobacco for college and university students.
Patterns of Smoking Among Minnesota’s Young Adults (pdf) This report presents data from the Minnesota Adult Tobacco Survey. Both adult and adolescent definitions were used. Results show the full range of young adult smoking patterns, including previously unrecognized smokers.
